| The Biotechnology of Fungi and Synthesis of Bioactive Molecules Group, which was established in 1985, belongs to the Insituto de Biotecnologia of the UGR. This group has worked in the following research lines: a) Isolation and identification of new natural products from plants, fungi and bacteria. Study of their biosynthesis and principal biological activities. b) Miss a point of selective extraction methodologies in order to the production of natural products of industrial interest. c) Develop of novel strategies synthetic for bioactive natural products using biomimetic reactions. d) Biotechnology of fungi oriented to the production of fitohormones and vitamins. Study of bioactive apocarotenoids (sexual feromones). | |
